Revolution pressed glitter palettes

When yesterdays post arrived and I saw a parcel addressed to me, I ripped the packaging off as quickly as humanly possible as I knew exactly what was inside, the Revolution pressed glitter palettes.

The palettes, part of a glitter collection that Revolution launched just days ago, caught my eyes straight away and I knew I wouldn't be able to resist ordering them, for the purpose of the blog of course.. I managed to stop myself from buying all three of them and chose the two that stood out to me the most, Hot pursuit which is the one in the glittery red packaging, and Abracadabra the one in black.

This is more of a first impressions + swatches post more than a review, simply because I've only have them for a day and although I have tried them on my eyes once, I don't feel like I've given them a fully fair test as of yet. However I just couldn't resist not showing you them!
So Abracadabra, the one in black glittery black packaging holds the 9 most daring shades of all three palettes. With greens, blues, purples, oranges and pinks, its definitely for the more 'out there' looks. I could'nt not get it though and was drawn to the brightness of it, plus even though I might not get much use out of it on a day to day basis, I'll definitely use it at festivals.

As you can see, all the colours are really pigmented and super shimmery with some of them even being holographic. These swatches are also them straight on to my arm using my finger without my primer or glitter glue, so using that would make them ever more amplified!

For a pressed glitter they are the perfect amount of creaminess to actual glitter. They're soft enough to come out of the pan perfectly as soon as you put your finger or brush in there, but they're still also really pigmented.
Second is Hot Pursuit, the red glittery palette with the slightly more toned down shades, oranges, pinks, purples and golds. As you can see, a much more day to day wearable selection of glitters.

These ones, and I'm unsure why, didn't swatch as well as the other palette even though I did the exact same. However, they still felt super creamy and came out pigmented and this was actually the palette I tested out on my eyes and the glitters worked really well and stuck to my eyelid perfectly.

Again I haven't used any adhesive with these so doing so would only make them more pigmented, although I'd say you can easily get away without.
For reference these are what the shades look like with the flash on, so you can get a good idea of just how insane they look when the light reflects on them!

For £10, getting 9 good quality beautiful shades in equally beautiful packaging sounds like a pretty good deal if you ask me and I'd 100% recommend these. You just watch me go and buy the other palette now because I really do think I need them all!

So with summer and festival season fast approaching, get your hands on these and make sure you're he most glittery person there!
