5 must have apps for all bloggers

Apps within blogging have definitely changed the game! I mean we would seriously be nowhere without our editing and scheduling apps these days, I sometimes wonder how the bloggers from long ago did it!?
My first app that is a necessity for all bloggers, or even just anyone that likes to have a pretty Instagram feed, is Unum. Unum is an app that enables you to plan your insta feed by loading the photos you've already posted and allowing you to add in new ones to see if they match your feed. Not only do I use this app for planning my blogs Instagram, but I also use it for my personal one to see if the photos I'm posting go well with each other.

I'm personally not too strict on having a matching feed myself, but if you're someone who likes their feed to completely match, then this app is seriously useful!
Next we have Lightroom. Now this is my go to app for editing all sorts of things on my pictures. Simply because it has so many features! You can crop your images, put filters on them, change all the different things such as exposure and contrast, and even change the temperature and tint of your photos.

If I ever think my pictures are looking a bit dull or as though they're missing something, then I have a little play around with them on this app and it usually does the trick!
Thirdly, and the only app you have to pay for, is Facetune. This is my holy grail app simply because of it's whitening tool. I've never found an app that does it so well so the £3.99 it costs to download this is a small price to pay for the insanely white backgrounds it can give you!

I cannot rave about this one enough because it really does work wonders - especially when you have to take your photos in these dark autumn evenings.
Another app I think is a must have for all you bloggers, is Hootsuite or Buffer. Both essentially do the same thing, but they schedule your tweets for you. Perfect for when you can't be tweeting the link to your latest post all day, just schedule it through here and it'll go up by itself. It helps keep your engagement high, even if you aren't able to be promoting yourself at the time.

I like to use both of these as they do have a limit to how many tweets you can schedule at a time, so by using both apps you're able to schedule double the amount of tweets!

My final app that isn't really an app, more of a website, is Manage Flitter. This site is amazing for keeping track of all of your Twitter followers. You can see who is/isn't following you back, the most talkative/un talkative people you follow, and my personal favourite, the inactive people you're following.

This shows you the people who haven't tweeted in the last 30 days so if you want to clear your timeline and only follow active people, all the in-actives are in one place!

These 5 apps/websites I couldn't do without in my blogging life and they really do make everything a little bit easier. They're also all free other than Facetune, however I still think that one is totally worth the money! Do you use any of these apps?

  3. I also use UNUM and I love it for planning my feed! I always mean to use buffer more than I remember to, haha! I have never tried Facetune, mostly because I like the app Snapseed for whitening my background and it's free! But nonetheless I do really want to try Facetune because I am sure it will be worth it. Lovely post x
