The love list

I've decided to introduce a new little series to my blog entitled 'The love list' in which every so often, maybe every few moths, I'll share with you a collection of things I've been loving recently covering all genres from YouTube to food. Now I know this essentially just like doing a favourites post but crazy ole me wanted to shake it up a little bit and thus, the love list was born.

YouTube
Alongside being an avid blog reader I'm also a huge YouTube fan and love watching all sorts of videos, my favourites at the moment being conspiracy theories, beauty videos and vlogs. Two YouTubers in particular that have been my favourites recently are Molly from Beauty Spectrum and Liv from Liv Rook. They're two down to earth British teenagers who do a variety of videos on their channels with Molly doing weekly vlogs too which I love! Do you ever just watch particular YouTubers and think to yourself "we would make great friends" because that's what I feel about these two, I love seeing what they're getting up to and I think they'll always be firm favourites of mine!

Scrapbooking*
Something I love doing is looking back at memories I have and reminiscing, whether that be through photos or even old diary entries! One way I've been loving doing this recently is through scrapbooking. I picked up a patterned scrapbook from WHSmith and using the site Printiki* I printed off plenty of snaps to fill up the pages. Printiki is a site which allows you to print off any of your photos in various sizes, standard, square, with borders, or even polaroid, the possibilities are endless! You can also select the finish of your prints, either matte or glossy, I went with matte and I love how they turned out and they are super high quality! I've really enjoyed filling my scrapbook in my spare time and it's actually pretty therapeutic and I know I'll love looking back on it in the future.
Eyeshadow palette
An eyeshadow palette I've been loving lately is the Burning Embers palette from Mua. It contains 36 beautiful shades with both mattes and shimmers in pretty much every warm shade you could ever need. All the shades are incredibly pigmented and the range of looks that can be created from it is insane! Another plus to it is that it was a complete bargain at only £8! It's pretty much all I've been
wearing on my eyes recently and for a while to come I'd imagine.
Memory
My favourite memory as of recently was definitely attending my first ever blogger event, Blogcon, right in the heart of London. I got to meet some amazing people and brands, as well as one of my closet blogging friends for the first time! Not only was the event amazing but the whole atmosphere in London where it was held, it definitely ignited my love for that city.
Music
I'm the type of person that likes literally every music genre and recently a few favourites from my playlist have been Passion fruit by Drake, The sound by The 1975, anything by Ed Sheeran as his whole albums incredible and I've been listening to it on repeat since I'm actually lucky enough to be going to see him this month and finally It ain't me by Kygo and Selena Gomez.
Bralettes
I have become a serious bralette junky! Gone are the days of wearing uncomfortable and ugly underwired bra's, you'll only ever find me wearing pretty and non restricting bralettes now. Honestly I feel like a changed woman and since changing to pretty much only wearing them, I'm seeing the world in a much more comfier way! The bralette in this photo in case you wanted to know is from Primark and I got it for £3!! How much of a bargain is that, it looks like something you'd find in Victoria Secret!

So that rounds up my first love list and I hope it's given you a little insight in to my favourites as of recently. Please let me know something you've been loving lately too and as always thanks for reading.

  1. Scrapbooking is great! I really like journalling too, similar to scrap booking how you can just do whatever you want with it and it's like a little memory book to look back on

  2. I love the idea of this series. A little less restricting than favourites posts. That make up palette looks gorgeous, and I am loving that bra letter. Might have to pick up some myself.

  5. I really have been loving Ed Sheeran's album, even if it is a little over played now. I just recently wrote about my favourite playlist that has been on repeat, over on my blog, and I'll think that below if you'd like to check that out. On another note, I wish they had blogger events closer where I live. I know there are some in Toronto, but being in Alberta, you don't get bloggers over here. haha! x

  17. I love scrap booking, I made one covering last summer, I purchased a Polaroid camera but also printed off the pictures from my phone and it's such a nice way to look back on the memories. And bralettes have been revolutionary, though my boobies have got so used to being underwire free that when I put on a normal bra it feels like booby prison! Xx

  22. I did scrapbooking whilst in my final year at school, it was mostly photos of me and my boyfriend at the time so I don't have it anymore but I loved making it, really good fun.
