L'oreal infallible 24h-matte foundation review

Today I've got a review for you on the L'oreal infallible 24h-matte foundation.

I heard lots of people hype over this foundation for quite a while before I finally decided to bite the bullet and just buy it. I'd been on the look out, and still am, for a foundation to replace my trusty, yet rather expensive Mac studio fix fluid as my bank account just wasn't thanking me about that being my go to foundation. So I decided to pick this up in the second lightest shade which is number 11 vanilla hoping it would do the trick.

I really like the application of this foundation and it goes on really nicely when I buff it in to my skin giving me a medium coverage I would say. But unfortunately that's where my like for this product ends, Being the yellow undertoned individual that I am, I found this foundation was way to pinky for my skin and I ended up resembling somewhat of a salmon fish.

Even with bronzer and everything over the top I still thought I looked like I had mildly caught the sun and personally that's not a look I strive for! However as I wasn't leaving the house on the day I was wearing this I just left it on and by then end of the day I was surprised to see that it was all still pretty much on and it didn't look cakey or anything.

All in all if it wasn't so pinky toned it would be great foundation for me, but alas I represent the NC undertone girls (neutral cool) and it just isn't going to work. If any of you have tried out any of the other shades or any other L'oreal foundations then please let me know if as a brand their foundations lean more to the pinky tones. Thanks for reading.

  4. I use the Max factor 3 in 1 foundation which is brilliant! I also recommend for yellow toned skin especially the bourjois healthy mix serum/foundation which I used for a while and loved it! The serum is really light but still provides coverage and goes onto the skin so nice!x
